Japanese Cotton Tenugui: Friendly Octopus

This is a precut long piece of 100% cotton, made in Japan, called a tenugui. Tenugui translates to "hand towel" but is much more than that. It's a piece of cotton fabric, approximately 14" x 36", that can indeed be hemmed and used as a hand towel or tea towel, but also can be quilted, sewn into clothing or other textile goods, or displayed as art. This design is more whimsical than most. 

PLEASE NOTE: This is not yardage, it's sold as a single piece. For scale, the vertical photo shows the whole design. 

NOTE #2: If you are going to use this with other fabrics, please wash it first! Wash by hand in cold water, do not leave to soak. Hang dry only. Irons well.

NOTE #3: The full vertical image showing the whole piece is two images spliced together. Please ignore the awkward transition, the print is perfect.
