March Break Sewing Camp March 12-16, 2017: Stuffed Creatures
I am offering a special March Break Sewing camp for the first time this year, and it's going to an especially whimsical, wacky, fun week of sewing crazy creatures!
My sewing camps take place in my home in the Danforth/East York neighbourhood of Toronto. They are ideal for kids who really want to sew! We do a variety of different activities, and build our skills quickly. Creativity is encouraged, and each child is given lots of attention and encouragement. We work with wonderful materials and everyone is always wowed by our creations (even the creators themselves).
The theme of this week is Stuffed Creatures. We will learn about stuffed toy construction techniques, how to sew things that are sturdy, and how to embellish our creatures so that they each have a wonderful personality. We'll be using sewing machines, hand sewing stitches, embroidery, buttons, and our imaginations. You send a lunch, and I provide snacks and all materials/supplies. Ages 8-14, $400 + HST.
You can sign up online here, or contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. Either way, I will contact you with a more detailed registration form. Space is very limited, so if you are interested please contact me ASAP.
